Iaomai offers private massage, yoga and nutrition services for your personal healing & wellbeing. At Iaomai, we believe healing is far more than physical. It’s also how you think & feel about you. It’s extremely personal. It’s extremely private. Iaomai is your private oasis where you will find healing for all of you.
Iaomai is the Greek word for healing. And, if we are honest, we all need healing. For some, it’s physical healing. For others, it’s the need to quiet a busy mind. Yet for others, it’s making peace with the inevitable wounds of life.
Iaomai in Greek goes beyond limiting healing to any one aspect of our being. It is more than just physical health, mental stability or emotional wellbeing. Iaomai knows healing is interconnected, acknowledging that each aspect of our wellbeing affects the others. We know this to be true: physical illness can lead to depression; mental stress may contribute to anxiety or panic attacks; grief may manifest physically or mentally in loss of activity, change in appetite or fear of the future.
The healing conveyed by Iaomai is health in every aspect of our being. Wellbeing of body, mind and spirit. Wholeness. Completeness.
At The Iaomai Center, we believe and are dedicated to this type of healing. It is our desire and intention to help you pursue Iaomai healing in every aspect of your being – body, mind and spirit.
Ideally nestled just east of Farragut and west of Knoxville, The Iaomai Center is located in the Historic Village of Concord, a community established in 1854 with a rich history centered around Tennessee marble. The Iaomai Center is located on the original site of Walt Woods’ marble finishing shop, where his initials can still be seen today in the raw marble foundation walls of the Marble Cellar.
This historic setting offers a quiet and peaceful backdrop to escape the busyness and noise of today’s hectic lifestyle and embrace a slower, more relaxed pace. Picturesque views from the Studio of Fort Loudon Lake and the Smoky Mountains inspire and renew, while tranquility and calm exude from a deep sense of connection to the earth in the Marble Cellar. This environment cultivates a serene and intimate atmosphere, ideal for fostering personal healing and wellbeing.
